Garré Tidey is a Board Certified Medical Illustrator and Animator with expertise in scientific communication, creative leadership, and multimedia production. Drawing on a decade of professional experience, she directs complex biomedical visualization projects from concept through delivery, combining compelling visual storytelling with meticulous scientific accuracy.
She has collaborated with organizations including the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), Vanda Pharmaceuticals, the NIAID Laboratory of Host Immunity and Microbiome, the USDA, and the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Garré earned her MFA in Medical Illustration and Animation from the Rochester Institute of Technology and her BFA in both Biochemistry and Studio Art from the College of William & Mary.
Whether creating illustrations from scientists’ research in the lab, working directly alongside surgeons in the operating room, or developing online interactive learning modules used by thousands of students nationwide, Garré’s expertise in biomedical visualization brings clarity, creativity, and scientific rigor to every project.
